Ashley Brittain Aven, Esq.
Ashley has worked as a client consultant for 14+ years, first as an attorney with specialty areas, including real estate, housing, and family law. Then as an advocate with expertise in law and policy related to education, healthcare, and family.
Her strengths include consultation, strategic planning, and research. Ashley’s healthcare advocacy areas include pediatric, senior care, pulmonary disease, neurological disease, chronic disease, and organ transplant.
Ashley has a particular passion for education advocacy. She is a skilled consultant with expertise in elementary education, special education, and 504 learning plans. She is a warm and generous individual who has successfully connected PUSD families to resources within the district to benefit their children.
Ashley has a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University and a law degree from Brigham Young University. She is a mother of five children and has a keen interest in spending time with them and her husband, Chinese Shar-Pei dogs, and watching rugby.
Amber Brittain Hale, Ph.D.
Amber brings over 17 years of expertise in mixed-methods research, qualitative data collection, and analysis to her role as Director and Researcher at The Brittain Group. Her focus is on risk and policy evaluation, and she has developed an innovative research approach that combines mixed-methods research and human cognition. This approach forms a solid foundation for political decision-making and addresses intricate methodological confounders in organizations.
An exceptional communicator, Amber has a proven track record in directing outreach projects that encompass communication, stakeholder engagement, organizational analysis, and regulatory adherence. She is skilled in formulating innovative qualitative and mixed-methods research methodologies, a skill highlighted by creating the trailblazing Brittain-Hale Foreign Policy Analysis Model.
Globally recognized for her distinguished academic instruction and mentorship, Amber has delivered lectures and private courses at international conferences, demonstrating her profound knowledge and experience in the field. Her expertise and innovative approach make her a valuable asset to The Brittain Group and its clients.
Amber holds a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University, a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
Amber loves to vacation with her husband, four sons, and daughter-in-law. She is also a devoted rugby fan! Her favorite rugby teams are BYU, the New Zealand All Blacks, and the Japanese Brave Blossoms.
